Legacy is the term we use to refer to products that are at the end of their product lifecycle.  Often they are no longer actively sold by our customers.  They may even be officially listed as “unsupported” in the catalog or in Customer Service.

However, out in the field there may be hundreds or even thousands of these installations quietly and reliably doing what they were designed to do – upholding our customers’ reputation.  Many of these designs just refuse to die!

Almost all OEM’s face the difficult decision on when to pull the plug on their aging product lines.  When RBB is your supplier, this decision is delayed until the components themselves are no longer available anywhere in the world.  Until that time, RBB will build any size order, down to a single unit.

Every day our staff of estimators, component engineers, buyers, and technicians comb through old, red-lined, coffee stained drawings for our customers.  Obsolescence research comes with the territory.  Once we receive your order, RBB takes the lead and drives all issues through resolution until the documents are updated and are declared ready to use.  Future builds go much easier (after we track down more parts!).
