Initiated by the European Union, RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) limits the importation of products containing specified hazardous material into Europe effective
July 2006. RoHS is being adopted by China with other countries – including the
United States – making plans to follow suit.
One of the materials on the restricted list is lead. While this impacts many industries,
few will feel the impact as strongly as the electronics industry.
Recognizing that converting to lead-free assemblies is a critical issue to our customers and anticipating your needs, RBB has taken action by:

Installing new equipment for lead-free production
•
Training our technicians on the use of lead-free solder.
•
Segregating our production and warehouse areas to insure compliance with RoHS regulations.
•
Educating our customers through in-house seminars.
•
Offering free Bill of Material assessments to our clientele.
We’ve done all we can to make the transition to lead-free production as painless as possible for our customers. We can do the same for you.
