At RBB, our success has always been built on the people behind the work—and few stories reflect that better than David Hill Jr.’s.
This year, we’re proud to celebrate an incredible milestone: David Hill Jr.’s 45-year anniversary with RBB.
David Hill Jr. joined RBB in February 1981 through a vocational school placement program, stepping into a highly hands-on manufacturing environment. In those early days, team members wore many hats, and David Hill Jr. was no exception. From PCB drilling and assembly to potting, conformal coating, testing, and even PCB etching and Metalphoto imaging, he gained a deep, end-to-end understanding of the manufacturing process.
That foundation would shape a career defined by adaptability, consistency, and a willingness to grow alongside the company.
As RBB evolved, so did David Hill Jr.’s role. In the mid-1990s, he transitioned into the Stockroom, where he became a key part of maintaining the flow of materials across multiple facility expansions. Then in 2011, he took on additional responsibilities, including printing routers and managing production documentation—work that plays a critical role in keeping operations accurate, efficient, and on schedule.
But David Hill Jr.’s impact goes beyond his day-to-day responsibilities.
Over the years, he has trained team members, supported customer tours, and served as a reliable resource for colleagues across departments. His steady presence and willingness to share knowledge have made him an integral part of the RBB team.
A certified J-STD-001 Application Specialist, David Hill Jr. brings a strong understanding of quality and workmanship standards to everything he does—reinforcing the same commitment to excellence that defines RBB’s approach to electronics manufacturing.
Reflecting on his time with the company, David Hill Jr. shared:
“Forty-five years is a long time, and I’ve had the opportunity to grow alongside RBB through many changes. I’m grateful for the experiences, the people I’ve worked with, and the support I’ve received throughout my career.”
His journey mirrors RBB’s own evolution—from its early days to a trusted manufacturing partner delivering SMT and through-hole PCB assembly, mixed-technology builds, turnkey solutions, and UL 508A-certified panel integration.
