Progress on the production floor doesn’t happen by accident.
It takes planning, investment, and a commitment to being Always Better — raising the standard every single day.
RBB has implemented a series of equipment upgrades designed to increase precision, strengthen process control, and expand manufacturing capabilities across our SMT lines and supporting operations.
- MPM MOMENTUM II 100 Stencil Printers (both SMT lines)
- ASC International LineMaster Fusion 3D Inline Solder Paste Measurement
- M.O.L.E. EV6 Thermal Profilers (Reflow & Wave Solder)
- New Depanelization Machine
- Slideline with Integrated Monitoring
- Advanced Through-Hole Preparation Equipment
- Industrial Dry Fog Humidification System (IKEUCHI)
- MR2 Router Depanelization System
The MPM MOMENTUM II 100 stencil printers enhance alignment repeatability and wet print accuracy while supporting dual-lane processing in a compact footprint. With AccuCheck print verification, automatic paste dispensing, and advanced inspection tools, these systems provide real-time quality assurance at the earliest stage of assembly.
When the print process is controlled, everything downstream benefits.
To strengthen measurement and profiling, RBB added ASC International LineMaster Fusion 3D inline solder paste measurement and M.O.L.E. EV6 thermal profilers for both reflow and wave solder processes. These systems deliver fast, automated data collection that improves repeatability, reduces variability, and reinforces documentation across every build.
Production efficiency expanded with a new depanelization machine, a monitored sideline, and enhanced through-hole preparation equipment. These upgrades improve throughput while maintaining tighter control of mixed-technology assemblies commonly used in complex avionics, communications, power, and control systems.
Environmental stability also plays a critical role. RBB implemented an industrial dry fog humidification system from IKEUCHI to maintain consistent relative humidity without wetting sensitive surfaces. The system reduces electrostatic discharge (ESD), minimizes debris adhesion, and supports overall process stability — all while operating more efficiently than traditional steam systems.
The addition of the MR2 Router brings high-precision PCB routing in-house. Built on heavy-duty machine construction with a precision-ground steel base, it achieves cutting accuracy down to ±0.0005 inches at high speeds. Dual vacuum debris removal and advanced servo control ensure clean, consistent depanelization results.
“These upgrades significantly enhance our capabilities and allow us to deliver higher precision and efficiency for our customers,” said Bruce Hendrick, Owner and CEO of RBB. “We continue to invest in new equipment to ensure reliable, high-quality electronic assemblies for prototypes.”
For more than five decades, RBB has strengthened its operations through disciplined execution and strategic investment. Whether supporting turnkey or consignment manufacturing, surface mount or through-hole assembly, our focus remains clear:
Build it right.
Control the process.
Deliver with confidence.
And when our clients face tight timelines or evolving requirements, we move heaven and earth to get them what they need — when they need it.
As technology advances and customer expectations grow, RBB continues to evolve alongside them — with the equipment, systems, and people required to support complex electronic assemblies at the highest level.
